Generally Monkeyshrine are quite good with an informative (if slightly dated) info pack given to all customers. Tickets, accommodation and transfers are all included in the cost which is why it may initially seem expensive. Also included are trips to local places of interest - some more interesting than others; we did feel the need to humour our various guides at times- lots of head nodding and trying not to laugh. Taken with a pinch of salt it's all good fun.
Slight hiccup in Mongolia where our guide couldn't find us and so the company assumed we hadn't arrived. A discussion on the phone had the whole thing sorted in a day or so and the adventure continued. If done independently the trip could have been far cheaper, however. Though buying the tickets from Moscow can be slightly tricky by all accounts.
In conclusion the trip was banging like a hedgehog in a balloon factory... or a Serbian in a gun shop. ..
