Green Globe Certification announces Green Globe ‘Mexico’
Green Globe Mexico will service markets in it’s own country and neighbouring Latin American states. Having obtained a three-year license, the company will be well positioned to provide sustainability certification to travel and tourism businesses in the region.
The entirely Mexican company offers certification based on internationally accepted criteria for sustainable business practice, aimed at the travel and tourism sectors. It is supported by the environmental organisation Pro-Natura International, which aims conservation initiatives at flora, fauna and priority ecosystems. The 25-year old organisation will be supporting Green Globe Mexico in promoting green and sustainable tourism services.
The Green Globe Certification operates in over 83 countries through the Green Globe Alliance.
