- My flying fish experience provided me with a really good training basis to work as an instructor. The staff were expereinced, inspiring and knowledgeable about sailing techniques and equiptment although windsurf kit available for sailing was limited.

Instructor assessment was full-on, with everyone expected to give presentations and demonstrate techniques. Although the flying fish house was located in Manly, 2 mins from awesome surf beaches, accomodation was basic and busy. Price is a big issue with instructor training courses and perhaps does not warrant the high price tag. Wind in Sydney harbour can be variable at the season extremes and Vassiliki is more likely to provide more reliable wind. However if you are looking to get into the watersports industry a flying fish course is definately a wicked start! ..

Although group sizes can be large, that means loads of new people to meet and there's enough instructors to go round. Locations are truly remote and you don't have to fight locals for the waves. Laid back atmosphere and awesome food. Mojo definately gets a thumbs up from me...
