We appreciated our short trip to the Eastern Arc Mountains of East Usambara,West Usambara and the South Pare mountains.
Anthony impressed us greatly with his all-encompassing
knowledge and his consummate ability to identify the shortest fragments ofbird song and the most distant of bird movements! Paul was a veryreassuring, and safe, driver who clearly has good 'rallying' skills!
For us,it was a unique experience, thank you both.
We hope that we have the opportunity of visiting your region again some time in the
not-too-distant future.With best regards...

The guide would find a place that you could stretch your legs and he would get out a snack and your choice of drinks.....we enjoyed a bottle of wine as we watched the sunset each night in the bush. Driving back we looked for nocturnal animals. Dinner was at 8:00 pm. Usually we started with drinks around the fire and then dining by candlelight. Each camp had one dinner in their boma with a cultural experience put on by the employees which were made up of the people from the villages of Mara. We loved the singing and dancing that was performed for us. With a big full African moon, these evenings were really fun! Thanks to eyes on nature...

Holiday and honey-moon makers can find their haven in the Kenya! Truly Kenya is a centre of great biodiversity.
All the way from the Coast to Mt. Kenya, a wildlife safari is quite rewarding.
A safari that will expose you to the vast lion population in Tsavo national park, the snow-capped Mt. Kenya, the vast animal species in the semi-desert Samburu national park and the spectacular great Rift Valley in which Lake Nakuru - dominated by pink flamingoes and the vast northern extension of Serengeti plains will leave no doubt that Kenya is among the most gifted tourist destinations in the world.

- Our passion is to travel and to visit exotic places. Our biggest obstacle was figuring out the logistics (What? Where? When? While in Africa we had contact numbers to call for help but thankfully we didn't need it. That was a great anxiety reducer to know that if we had trouble we were not completely on our own. Since returning from our travels, we have learned more about African culture and the jewel that this continent represents and the importance of preserving it for others to experience. I want to take my children there when they are a few years older. We decided to book with Eyes on nature expeditions because of a high recommendation of a friend. No greater marketing tool than word of mouth! Thank you...

Your staff of guide Robin and assistant/cook Elijah were courteous, knowledgeable and made sure that my every need was taken care of; most importantly on the trail and also in the huts. The food was tasty and very plentiful. the last push up to Lenana point was difficult, so Elijah who was my guide for this portion, stayed next to me the whole way and assisted me as needed.
Rest assured that I will recommend your agency to any of my friends who are considering traveling to Kenya.

His driving skills were masterful. He was always punctual even when we were not. His knowledge and sensitive of the African, Kenyan and Animal culture equals that of most scholars. The vehicle was spacious for our needs and was spotlessly cleaned each day. It was particularly sturdy over muddy and rough roads maneuvered well. Davids skills as a driver and navigator made our 1st ever safari holiday a dream come true. We never broke down, got stuck or lost. We found the Panafric Clean and Safe; Amboseli Serena Classy; Sweetwaters Tented Camp distinctive as was Flamingo Hill Tented Camp. Keekorok Lodge was a bit distant but well worth the visit. If there will be a chance to go again to Kenya we will visit this place again even for another 8 days.

Not knowing where to begin, I will start by saying that literally everything was faultless. Tickets on departure were dealt with in a professional manner, the flight's food was edible (!), soft drinks were gratefully included and we had a lot of legroom. Transfer to our hotel was unusually fuss less, and the hotel was excellent – food, staff room and pool were all of a high standard. The one day safari which was included in the price and the entertainment at the various complexes were all extremely enjoyable. The prices of the trips were competitive, if not cheaper than other organisations!
I could go on – but I won't! I will close by saying that I will recommend Eyes On Nature Expeditions to anyone. The value for money was such that I have never experienced previously, and I thank you for such an enjoyable holiday...

- On my first trip to Africa last summer, I was fortunate to experience many remarkable moments in nature, from close-up views of a single lioness attacking a mature wildebeest, to observing a gazelle immediately after birth. But as I write this, six months later, there is no question that the experiences that stick with me most are those that I had during the last week of my journey which focused on two species – the flamingos of lake Nakuru and the elephants of Amboseli in Kenya.

Victoria Safaris
- I went on the Gorillas and Gameparks trip in July 2009 which was 19 days in Kenya, Uganda and Rwanda. I
have nothing but praise for Oasis who delivered a fantastic trip on a budget. ....Read MoreI would describe it as more
of an adventure than a holiday but I imagine that is a reflection of overlanding in Africa in general!
Oasis is for you if you're looking for an operator who skimps on the luxuries but not on the essentials.
The truck was in excellent condition, the tents were hardy and roomy (though they did leak a bit on the
one occasion that it rained really hard!), the cooking equipment was good quality and the seating area on
the truck was well set out. The music system was a little flaky and often cut out when we went over a
particularly big pothole but really it wasn't much of a problem!
The itinerary was great and we only had about three really long driving days, but you're never going to
eliminate this when trying to cover such huge distances. Every evening there was a different cook group on
duty (groups of three decided by the group leader at the start of the trip) and this worked out fine. The
cook group also went shopping with the group leader to help buy food for dinner. There were some really
early mornings but that means you reach your destination quicker.
The group leader was fantastic; did all the hard work at border crossings, was very knowledgeable about
where to go shopping etc, and generally looked after us very well without being too much of a school
teacher! The driver was great too; always got us safely from A to B and helped out when needed.
If I have one criticism it is that there isn't enough food! But then I have a big appetite. And it was
Africa where food is often hard to come by. There was plenty for dinner but not enough for breakfast and
often not enough for lunch. Often it was possible to buy snacks along the way and I would recommend
grabbing these whenever you can. Oasis has a strict food budget to keep the price of the trip down but I
would have gladly paid extra for a bigger breakfast!
We went to some truly magical places and I have only fantastic memories, so I can thoroughly recommend
Oasis!..
