- i had a fantastic experience with CQC -- i'm not an X-treme sports kinda guy and they did a great job with encouraging & challenging you while still respecting your personal limits. cleo & jordan are a great team and really seem to enjoy their work -- they're wonderful people as well (jordan helped me fix a flat tire on my hired car -- how amazing is that?!).

- Plas Menai is located on the Menai Strait, an ideal location for water activities and not far for rock activities in Snowdonia or Anglesey. I did a weekend on a Sea Kayaking course that packed alot into 3 days.

Class time included finding information about tides and currents and how to use this to plan our trips. The trips included an afternoon along the Straits; a choppy but fun excursion around Puffin Island and lastly at the end of the weekend; we planned our own route around the rugged north coast of Anglesey, with a couple of curious seals accompanying us for a short way :0) The bar is a good distraction in the evening with decent meals, although Bangor and Caernarfon are not too far away. I can recommend Plas Menai for good value, no fuss and down to business adventure..
